Our care home in Gosforth
Our Gosforth care home is a three-storey building purpose built to provide residential care for 37 residents. The home is surrounded by well-maintained mature gardens which provide peaceful outdoor areas for everyday enjoyment, including a sunny South facing terrace for those who like to sit in the sun or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
Located on the corner of Elmfield Road and North Avenue, a quiet area of Gosforth, the home has easy access to the high street, local shops, transport and other amenities – as well as being close to Newcastle city centre. There is limited onsite parking.
Our Gosforth care home’s facilities and approach
At our Gosforth care home residents can make new friendships and be part of a community where they can enjoy life, be independent and feel safe and secure.
There is a comfortable spacious lounge with direct access to the terrace and surrounding gardens. There are also two cosy smaller lounges for those who prefer some time alone or to receive visitors. Our dining room is the hub of the home, where residents meet for meals or to join in activities such as arts, crafts, reminiscing, singing, dancing and exercise which creates a warm, stimulating atmosphere, you can find out more about our nutrition and wellbeing here.
