Gosforth

Our home in Gosforth is a three storey building and was purpose built in 1989 to accommodate 37 residents.  We have 36 single en-suite rooms and 1 double en-suite room with a lift to all floors.

Situated in a residential area less than 5 minutes walk from the High Street with all local amenities easily accessible.

On site and street parking is available.

The Home Manager is Julie Needham - Julie has worked in care for the elderly for 18 years.  She has worked for Eothen Homes for 12 years, initially as a deputy manager, progressing to home manager in 2005.  Julie’s key motivation is to improve the quality of life for residents by providing the highest possible level of care, encouraging independence within each resident’s capability, promoting dignity and choice and ensuring that resident rights are protected.  During her time as home manager Julie has achieved the registered managers award, qualified as an NVQ assessor, and has achieved the highest 3* excellent rating with the Care Quality Commission.

Fee Rates 2011/12

Single room £521 per week

Double room £579 per week for single occupancy, £416 per person, per week for shared occupancy

Respite rate £573

We accept local authority rates, this should be discussed further with either the Home Manager or the Finance Manager.
