Services Provided

Accommodation, 24 hour residential care, all meals, laundry and activities are provided. Residents are encouraged to take main meals in the dining room. Home cooking and fresh produce prepared in our well equipped kitchens form an important part of carefully planned, nutritious and well balanced meals.

Breakfast may be taken in the resident’s own room or in the dining room. A choice is available at lunchtime and evening meal with any special dietary requirements being catered for including birthdays and special occasions.
Snacks and hot and cold drinks are available at all times.

A hairdresser attends every week and the services of a chiropodist, dentist, optician and continence advisor are available.

Laundering of linen and personal clothing is included in the fee and residents are requested to have all clothing clearly labelled.

Hairdressing, private chiropody, newspapers, telephone calls and personal items are an additional cost to the resident.

A local GP looks after the majority of residents, however, a resident may retain their own GP if desired. The services of local district nurses and physiotherapists are available when required.

Visiting by relatives and friends is welcomed and encouraged with no restrictions. Visitors can be received in the privacy of the resident’s room or in communal areas and are able to participate in light refreshments.
