A Winter Poem

SnowdropOur residents at Sutton composed this lovely poem:

A winter poem by Doreen, Joyce, Joan, Barbara and Della.

What unseasonable weather we’re having this year,

The bulbs already blooming and filling us with cheer.

But sadly the weather is due to decline

We hope in the south it will stay nice and fine.

Later this week, we’re threatened with snow

But we’ve ordered the sunshine so hope it will go

It won’t be long before spring comes around

And the birds start singing, it’s a wonderful sound.
